My online geek group has been ooooing and ahhhhing over a box of puppies. I thought this was just us but apparently, this litter of Shiba Inu puppies are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame. MSNBC suggests that we are watching the puppies because of the economy – quite a spin. When the economy outlook is good, do we watch dog fights?

Thrilling World Record

My muscles are sore and wobbly from practicing the almost-six-minute long Thriller dance. But it was worth the Motrin to have been one of Austin’s 881 citizens who danced together on Saturday 10/25, shattering the world record for synchronized Thriller dancing and earning a spot in the Guinness World Book of Records. Words don’t convey how fun it was – they seem more likely to convey how weird it was. You had to be there.

My costume was a Zombie who died in the gym. If I am ever going to be eaten by Zombies, no doubt the gym is where it will happen.
